Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium

About the Symposia

The Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium (KWHSS) is a series of in-person and online gatherings that promote education, research, and community-building in our areas of study.

Our inter-kingdom events for heralds and scribes are held at a new location each year, most often on a weekend in June. In recent years those in-person events have been complemented by an online “virtual” symposium each January.

Upcoming and Recent Symposia

This year’s KWHSS was held on June 29-30, 2024, in the Kingdom of the East. Hosted by the Bailiwick of Ivyeinrust, the event was held at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

This year’s vKWHSS was on the weekend of January 26-28, 2024.
